Leonard Louis "Lenny" McBrowne (born January 24, 1933)
Jazz Drummer, Lenny McBrowne, worked as both a Bandleader and Sideman between the 1950's and mid-1970's. He is a prolific figure in Hard Bop and taught Andrew Cyrille. He has worked with many (Billie Holiday, Cannonball Adderley, Sonny Stitt, Max Roach, Sarah Vaughan, Thelonious Monk and numerous others). Marcia Elaine Hines , AM (born 20 July 1953)
Vocalist, Actress and TV Personality, Marcia Hines, started at aged 16 years old in Stage Productions. She then went on to release some hit singles during the 1970's and also worked with the Jazz Orchestra, Daly - Wilson Big Band. She took a break in the 1980's, but has returned since 1994. Reggae Singer, Marcia Aitken, began her tenure during High School as a member of Lloyd Parks and We the People Band. She worked with Joe Gibbs and Errol Thompson, recording some memorable hits and retired after completing High School. She worked as a Nurse for over 20 years and returned to music in 2014. She faded from Rap after her father's Label folded in 1982, after he had a legal dispute about copyright infringement with Afrika Bambaataa. Louis Stanley Hooper (May 18, 1894, North Buxton , Ontario - Sept. 17, 1977, Charlottetown , Prince Edward Island)
Canadian Jazz Pianist, Lou Hooper, began his career in the 1910's and worked with others (Elmer Snowden, Ethel Waters and many more) in the US into the 1930's. He returned to Canada in 1932 and released Solo and Ensemble efforts up to 1973.
