Classic Female Blues Singer, Pianist and Songwriter, Fannie May Goosby, Recorded her own material, beginning in 1923. She released much loved songs up to 1928 and disappeared around 1934. Viola McCoy (c. 1900 – c. 1956)

Classic Female Blues Singer, Viola McCoy, had a tenure between the early 1920's and 1930's. She began in the Sparks Circus and then moved on to Cabaret. She recorded under numerous names and for various Labels. In her latter years she owned Jack's Cabaret and a Night Club. Lucille Nelson Hegamin (Nov. 29, 1894 – Mar. 1, 1970)

Blues Singer and Entertainer, Lucille Hegamin, worked between 1910 and 1934, and then again between 1961 and 1962, after returning from working as a Nurse. She began touring in Minstrel shows at aged 15 and worked in Cabaret for a while. She was the second African-American Blues Singer to Record in 1920 and continued on recording numerous singles.
