Cecil Anderson, 1906 – 1968)


Calypsonian, Nightclub and concert entertainmer, Pianist and Recording Artist, The Duke of Iron, worked with Bands in the 1930's and then branched off to a successful run of singles for many Record Labels. He was also  a hard working performer on stage that had billings at the Carnegie Hall, Apollo Theater, The Village Gate and others. Most members have passed on over the years as a result of cancer, drug overdose and a accident. Bebop Jazz Pianist, Herman Foster, was a blind talented Musician (Violin, Clarinet, Saxophone and Piano) that worked as a Sideman and Bandleader during the 1950's and 1960's. He continued working into the 1980's mostly as a studio musician. He was blinded during childbirth through a doctor's malpractice.
