Jazz Greats: Herbie Hancock

Herbert Jeffrey "Herbie" Hancock (born April 12, 1940)

He is primarily known to many as the dude who did the "Rockit" song in the 80s, but Mr. Herbie Hancock has been laying down classic material since 1961. He brings melody to the Genre, often capturing the non-Jazz audience with his compositions. Have a soothing Saturday and dabble in a few of his joints here: Chameleon , Watermelon man , Maiden voyage , Speak like a child , Rockit , Fat Albert Rotunda , Textures and Cantaloupe Island
