The Marvelettes

The Marvelettes

The Marvelettes had the first number one song on the Hot 100 charts by a Motown artist and helped to build the popularity of the label in it's early years, but suffered from lack of promotion and the departure of Group members, which eventually led to them falling into obscurity. Please take a listen here and have a relaxing Sunday: Don't mess with Bill , Beecham 4-5789 , Playboy , So long baby , Someday, Someway , Locking up my heart , Forever , I'll keep holding on , Too many fish in the sea and Please Mr. Postman
