Tribute Mondays: Maxine Sullivan

Maxine Sullivan (May 13, 1911 – April 7, 1987)

The Jazz Vocalist that came before Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday, Maxine Sullivan, is most times overshadowed by these performers and lacks the accolades she deserves. Thanks for your contribution Miss Sullivan, you are appreciated; please take a listen here and have a Sweet Monday: Darling Nelly Gray , Skylark , I dream of Jeanie , If I had a Ribbon Bow , Honeysuckle Rose , Ace in the hole and Loch Lamond
