Tribute Mondays: Smiley Lewis

Overton Amos Lemons (July 5, 1913 – October 7, 1966)

Smiley Lewis was the fore runner to Fats Domino; he died without accomplishing a high level of fame, meanwhile songs he recorded became smash hits for others. Thanks for your contribution Mr. Lewis, you are appreciated; please take a listen here and have an energy filled Monday: Blue Monday , I hear you knocking , Turn on your volume , Tee nah nah , Shame, shame, shame , Please listen to me , (I love you) for sentimental reasons and The bells are ringing
