Julius Watkins (October 10, 1921 – April 4, 1977)

Jazz Musician (Trumpet, French Horn), Julius Watkins, was a pioneer of the use of the French Horn in the Jazz Genre. He was featured in works by John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard, Charles Mingus and many others. He also released some Albums as leader or co - leader. He died in 1977.
