Hip Hop and R&B influenced Reggae Group, Worl-A-Girl, began in 1991 and gained recognition for their contribution to the Cool Runnings Movie Soundtrack. They released 2 Albums and then faded. Group member Charmaine left Worl-A-Girl in 1995 and went on to do Gospel Music. There is no information available about their current status. Yasus Afari (born John Sinclair , 1962 Saint Elizabeth Parish, Jamaica)

Jamaican Dub Poet, Yasus Afari, began scoring hits as a collaborator with his childhood friend, the late Garnett Silk. He worked as a Repair Technician at the Jamaica Telephone Company while pursuing his early career in the 1980's. He scored hits in the 1990's and remains active on tours.
