David " Fathead" Newman (February 24, 1933 – January 20, 2009)

Jazz and Rhythm and Blues Saxophonist, David "Fathead" Newman, was a talented Musician and Songwriter whose body of work was most times overshadowed by his solo additions on Ray Charles' records. He also worked as a sideman to many Artist up to the year 2008. He died from pancreatic cancer in 2009. Please take a listen here and have a relaxing Sunday: Willow weep for me and Hard times
