Amos Leon Thomas, Jr. (October 4, 1937 – May 8, 1999)

Avant Garde Jazz Singer, Leon Thomas, worked with Count Basie, Pharoah Sanders and others and is remembered for his yodelling technique, that was used during his vocalizing, which influenced future performers ( James Moody, Tim Buckley, Bobby McFerrin and others). He died of heart failure in 1999. Thanks for your contribution Mr. Thomas, you are appreciated. Please take a listen here and have a good Monday: Song for my father,  and The creator has a master plan (with Pharoah Sanders)
