Tab Smith

Inhalmadge "Tab" Smith (Jan. 11, 1909 – Aug. 17, 1971)

Swing and Rhythm and Blues Alto Saxophonist, Tab Smith, was active from 1929 to the early 1960's, working with others such as Count Basie and Lucky Millinder. He scored R&B hits during the 1950's, but his career dwindled after United Records closed. He subsequently retired and sold Real Estate; he died in 1971.
