Clifford Edward Thornton III (September 6, 1936 – November 25, 1989)


Free Jazz and Avant-Garde Jazz Trumpeter and Trombonist and Educator and Activist, Clifford Thornton, was a regarded composer that crafted much loved Albums beginning in the 1960's. He had stints as Assistant Professor (Wesleyan University) and was also a Political Activist.
