Albert J. " Budd " Johnson III (December 14, 1910 – October 20, 1984)

Jazz Saxophonist and Clarinetist , Budd Johnson, began his career on drums and piano, before moving on to the Tenor Saxophone. He is listed among the pioneers of Bebop, helping to craft its sound during works with Coleman Hawkins and others. He also recorded with Ben Webster , Benny Goodman , Big Joe Turner , Coleman Hawkins, Dizzy Gillespie, Duke Ellington , Quincy Jones, Count Basie ,
