Ivie Anderson was a talented Jazz Singer that had great success during the 1930's. She recorded superb pieces with Duke Ellington, but left music in 1942, at 37 years old, due to poor health and died in 1949. Please take a listen here and have a fun-filled Saturday: All God's chillun got rhythm, It don't mean a thing (if it ain't got that swing) and Stormy Weather
