Saibu Ayinde Bakare Ajikobi (1912 – 1 October 1972)

Pioneering Nigerian Yoruba Juju and Highlife Guitar and Banjo Ukulele Player, Ayinde Bakara, was an apprentice of Tunde King that garnered great respect for not diluting the sound of his music. He is also regarded as the first Juju musician to use an amplified Guitar. He disappeared during a performance break and his body was found three days later floating in Lagos Lagoon in 1972.
