Rupert Westmore Grant (13 December 1914 – 15 October 1961)


Calypsonian, Lord Invader, was a fixture in Calypso Music during the late 1930's in Trinidad. His career took off after working with RCA Bluebird and Decca Records into the 1940's. He won a lengthy lawsuit against an Artist, for the illegal use of his song, "Rum and Coca-Cola" and had to wait 7 years to collect his payment after the case ended.
