Lamont Dozier

Lamont Herbert Dozier (born June 16, 1941)


Songwriter, Arranger, Record Producer and Singer, Lamont Dozier, was a member of the famous Motown Records team, Holland-Dozier-Lamont, that wrote and  produced most of The Supremes and other label mates hits. He founded Invictus Records and Hot Wax Records after leaving Motown and continued his hit run with other Artists. His 1970's solo Albums garnered him some hits and he also continued into 1980's working with Phil Collins and others. He remains active mostly as a Teacher at the University of Southern California.
