Babs Gonzales

Lee Brown (Oct. 27, 1919 – Jan. 23, 1980)

Babs Gonzales was a Bebop Vocalist, Beat Poet, Pianist and Drummer who worked odd jobs, including a stint as a chauffeur, until he got his break as a Vocalist. He worked with Lionel Hampton and others before branching off to form his own outfit. He died in 1980; please take a listen here and have a relaxing Sunday: Prelude to a nightmare, Weird lullaby and Oop-pop-A-Do
