Raymond Chikapa Enock Phiri (born 23 March 1947)


South African Jazz Fusion and Mbaquanga Singer and Guitarist, Ray Phiri, is the founder of the successful Band, Stimela. He was also a part of Paul Simon's Graceland and  Rhythm of the Saints Albums. He has survived two car accidents; one killing his Band Manager  and six others and the other claimed his wife in 2003.
