Cecil Payne (December 14, 1922 – November 27, 2007)

Jazz Baritone and Alto Saxophonist and Flute Player, Cecil Payne, started his Recording career in 1946, incorporating Swing into his efforts. He worked as a Bandleader and also as a Sideman to Dizzy Gillespie, Randy Weston and others. He also worked in Real Estate during the 1950's. Please take a listen here and have a sweet Saturday: Ow!
