Tribute Mondays: Joe Sample

Joseph Leslie Sample (Feb. 1, 1939 – Sept.12, 2014)

Pianist, Keyboard Player and Composer, Joe Sample, was a founding member of the Jazz Crusaders. He had a great solo career and did session work for many (Miles Davis, George Benson, Eric Clapton, The Supremes and others). He began to play Piano at aged 5 years old and contributed greatly to the music industry through the years; he died in 2014.
