Ada Brown

Ada Scott Brown (May 1, 1890 – March 30, 1950)


Blues Singer, Ada Brown, worked in Vaudeville and Musical Theater beginning in 1919. She went on to record multiple regarded Blues pieces and was a founding member of the Negro Actors Guild of America. She died of kidney disease in 1950.
