Woodrow Wilson " Buddy " Johnson (January 10, 1915 – February 9, 1977)


Jazz and New York Blues Pianist and Bandleader, Buddy Johnson, was a renowned Blues composer whose releases from the 1940's to 1950's had great success on the R&B charts. His tenure from the 1930's to the 1960's garnered both standards and classics and introduced his sister Ella Johnson to music fans. Thanks for your contribution Mr. Johnson, you are appreciated.
