Savoy Sultans

The Savoy Sultans that ran from 1937 to 1946 was the original incarnation of the ensemble that was founded by Al Cooper. They recorded for Decca records and was praised by some of their contemporaries. The other incarnation was in 1974 and was led by Panama Frances.
