Tribute Mondays: Hasaan Ibn Ali

William Henry Langford, Jr (May 6, 1931 – 1980)

Jazz Pianist and Composer, Hasaan IbN Ali, influenced John Coltrane and some Philadelphia Musicians during his tenure. He only has one surviving recording  of his work (some works were destroyed in a record label Warehouse fire), but his documented style has been described as futuristic and advanced.
