Lorenzo Aitken (22 April 1927 – 17 July 2005)

Cuban born Singer and Pioneer of Ska music, Laurel Aitken, began his career in the Mento genre and then moved on to Ska, scoring hits in the Caribbean and the United Kingdom. His work in the Ska genre earned him the title "Godfather of Ska".
