Tribute Mondays: Terry Callier

Terrence Orlando "Terry" Callier (May 24, 1945 – October 27, 2012)

Jazz, Soul and Folk Guitarist and Singer-Songwriter, Terry Callier, recorded and wrote (The Dells) at Cadet Records, a subsidiary of Chess Records. He released critically acclaimed Albums during the 1970's and became a Computer Programmer during the 1980's, getting a job at the University of Chicago. He was dismissed from the university after they learned about his music career. He died from cancer in 2012. Thanks for your contribution, Mr. Callier, you are appreciated.
