Renn Woods

Renn Woods (born Ren Woods; January 1, 1958)

Vocalist, Songwriter, Film, Television and Stage Actress, Renn Woods, is most remembered for playing the roles of Fanta in the film, Roots, and Aquarius in Hair. She began her career at 10 years old in the Trio, Sunday's Child (formerly Three Little Souls). This Trio toured Internationally for many years and appeared on television with Bob Hope and Bing Crosby. Her adult years included acting in films and numerous television shows (The Jeffersons, Hill Street Blues, NYPD Blue, Beauty and the Beast and others) and recording a well received second Album that was released in 1982.
