Monette Moore (May 19, 1902 in
Gainesville, Texas – October 21, 1962 in Garden Grove, California )


Jazz and Classic Female Blues Singer, Monette Moore, was a self taught Pianist that honed her skills in her teen years. She recorded 44 songs between 1923 and 1927 and was featured on songs by many (Charlie Johnson, Elmer Snowden, Bubber Miley, Tommy Ladnier, Fats Waller and many others). She also starred in numerous films.
