Tribute Mondays: Marlowe Morris

Marlowe Morris (May 16, 1915 – May 28, 1978)

Jazz Pianist and Organist, Marlowe Morris, played with Coleman Hawkins, Al Sears, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Tiny Grimes and many others and also led a trio in the 1960's. He was much revered for his appearance in the 1944 short film, Jammin' The Blues. He died in 1978; thanks for your contribution Mr. Morris, you are appreciated.
