Jazz Greats: Tom Archia

Ernest Alvin Archia, Jr. (November 26, 1919 – January 16, 1977)

Jazz Tenor Saxophonist, Tom Archia, was active in Bands beginning in the 1940's. He was affiliated with most of the Jazz Greats (Gene Ammons, Wynonnie Harris, Hot Lips Page, Arnett Cobb, Illinois Jacquet, T-Bone Walker and many others) as he worked alongside them in Major Bands. He was at times referring to as "Texas Tom". He died in 1977 at aged 57 years old.
