James Joseph " Buster " Bennett (March 19, 1914 – July 3, 1980)
Blues Saxophonist and Blues shouter, Buster Bennett, was regarded for his Gutbucket (Washtub Bass) style on the Saxophone. He worked as a session Musician from the late 1930's onwards and also played the Piano and String Bass. His height of popularity was in the late 1940's and faded by 1956, prompting his retirement.
