Jazz Greats: Clora Bryant

Clora Bryant (born May 30, 1927)

Jazz Trumpeter, Clora Bryant, was a member of the Sweethearts of Rhythm. She also worked with Dizzy Gillespie, who was her mentor, and Charlie Parker. She released her only Album in 1957 and appeared on a few Television Variety Programs. Since 1996 she has been giving lectures about the history of Jazz on College campuses.
