Slim Smith (born Keith Smith; 1948 in Kingston, Jamaica – 1973)

Ska, Rocksteady and Reggae Singer, Slim Smith, was one of the greatest Vocalist in Jamaican music history l. He was a founding member and lead Vocalist of The Techniques and he also formed and led The Uniques. He began his solo career in 1969 and scored numerous hits, but his career was cut short when he bled to death from a badly lacerated arm before he could receive treatment in 1973.
