Jazz Greats: Myra Taylor

Myra Taylor (February 24, 1917 – December 9, 2011)

Jazz Singer and Songwriter, Myra Taylor, had a career that ran from her teen years into her nineties. She was a regular on tours and worked with Roy Eldridge, Lil Hardin Armstrong and others during the 1930's. She also acted in Television shows and some movies from the 1970's onwards. She returned to the US after living in Germany for a while and performing in 32 different countries.
