Reggae Thursdays: Keith Hudson

Keith Hudson (1946 – 14 November 1984)

Reggae Artist and Record Producer, Keith Hudson, was an Influential figure in the Dub movement. He was the schoolmate of Bob Marley, Delroy Wilson and Ken Boothe and organized school concerts with them during these years. He produced the Jamaican Deejays U-Roy, Big Youth and Dennis Alcapone and the Vocalists Delroy Wilson, John Holt and Alton Ellis on their earlier outings. He began his solo efforts in 1972 and went on to release successful Dub Albums. He is also credited with releasing Reggae's first true concept Album in 1974.
