Tribute Mondays: Mack Rice

Bonny "Mack" Rice (November 10, 1933 – June 27, 2016)

Songwriter and Singer, Mack Rice, was a part of the Five Scalders and the Falcons, from the 1950's to the 1960's. He was a prominent Songwriter for other Artists at Stax Records from the 1960's onwards and also had some success as a Solo Artist. Numerous Artists (Etta James, Ike and Tina Turner, Albert King, Rufus Thomas, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Buddy Guy and many others) have performed his compositions.
