Big John Greer

John Marshall Greer (November 21, 1923 – May 12, 1972)

Blues Tenor Saxophonist and Vocalist, Big John Greer, began his tenure as a member of Lucky Millinders Band in 1948. His career continued with hits of his own until his bout with alcoholism in the late 1950's. He died at aged 48 years old in 1972.
