Howard Tate

Howard Tate (August 13, 1939 – December 2, 2011) 


Soul Singer and Songwriter, Howard Tate, was a critically performer that crafted R&B hits during the 1960's and 1970's. He left the industry in the 1970's and sold Securities for a living. He became a drug addict and a homeless person in the 1980's after his 13 year old daughter died in an house fire. After getting counselling, he counselled drug addicts and mentally hill persons and became a Preacher in the 1990's.
