Eddie Harris

Eddie Harris (October 20, 1934 – November 5, 1996)

Jazz Musician (Saxophone, Vibraphone, Piano and Organ), Eddie Harris, introduced the electrically amplified Saxophone to the Genre. He had a stint in the US Army, serving in Europe before returning to the US to work and advance his music career. He also invented mixed instruments like the Guitorgan (Guitar and Organ combined), Reed Trumpet (Trumpet with Saxophone mouthpiece) and Saxobone (Saxophone with a Trombone mouthpiece).
