Singer/Songwriter, Arranger, Composer, Producer and Multi-instrumentalist (Piano, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboard, Drums, Percussion, Banjo, Harmonica and Organ), Terence Trent D'Arby, began his career as a Lightweight Boxer in 1980 and served in the US Army at the West Germany base. He began his music tenure in 1987 with the release of a hit Album and hit singles and continued on into the 1990's and 2000's. He is regarded for writing, composing, arranging and producing all his music. He remains active under the name Sananda Maitreya.
