Earl Donald Young (born June 2, 1940)

Drummer, Earl Young, was a main part of the 1970's Philly Soul Sound. He is also the founder and leader of the Trammps, part of the Production Trio, Baker-Harris-Young, and owner of Golden Fleece Records. He is noted as the inventor of the Disco style of Rock Drumming and worked on many Philadelphia based Record Labels' Productions (Philadelphia International Records, Salsoul Records, Sigma Sound Studios) during the 1970's.
