James Bryant Woode (September 23, 1926 – April 23, 2005)

Jazz Bassist, Jimmy Woode, was a sideman and session musician to many (Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington and others) and released a solo effort in 1958.
