Tribute Mondays: Louisiana Red

Iverson Minter (March 23, 1932 – February 25, 2012)

Blues Guitarist, Harmonica Player and Singer, Louisiana Red, recorded over 50 Albums between 1963 and 2011. His mother died of pneumonia shortly after his birth and his father was lynched in 1937. He worked extensively on his music after leaving the Army in the late 1950's. Some of his recorded works from the 1970's were released in latter years. He died in 2012 in Germany, where he had lived since 1981. Thanks for your contribution Mr. Minter, you are appreciated.
