Jimmy "Jammin" Smith

James Darwin Smith (1926–1953)

Jazz Trumpet Player, Jimmy "Jammin" Smith, was most popular in the 1950's. He worked with Miles Davis and released a popular Jazz piece called "Cold Jammin", which is somehow not on YouTube. He died of an heroine overdose at aged 27 years old in 1953. Please take a listen here to some Miles Davis' Bebop here, as I cant find Mr. Smith's work, and have a relaxing Sunday: Miles Davis - The New Sounds (1951 full Album)
