Tribute Mondays: Bennie Green

Bennie Green (April 16, 1923 – March 23, 1977)

Jazz Trombonist, Bennie Green, had a tenure that ran between the 1950's and the 1960's. He was a Bandleader and was also featured in a few Orchestras. He is remembered for his playing of Swing music and Soul styles on his Trombone during an era overshadowed by other styles. He died in 1977; thanks for your contribution Mr. Green, you are appreciated. Please take a listen here and have a sweet Monday: I love you, Back on the Scene (full Album) and Trombone by Three (full Album)
