Tribute Mondays: Reverend Charles Albert Tindley

Rev. Dr. Charles Albert Tindley (July 7, 1851 – July 26, 1933)

Methodist Minister and Gospel Music Composer, Reverend Charles Albert Tindley, was Self Educated; he learned Hebrew and Greek during a Correspondence Course and eventually a Doctorate.  He Composed many Gospel Hymns and is also one of the Founding Fathers of American Gospel Music.
