Tribute Mondays: Sammy Lawhorn

Sammy David Lawhorn (July 12, 1935 – April 29, 1990)

Chicago Blues Guitarist, Sammy Lawhorn, is mostly remembered for his use of the Tremolo arm on his Guitar instrumentations and his work in Muddy Waters' Band. He was also a Sideman to Otis Spann, Big Mama Thornton, John Lee Hooker and others. His tenure ran from the 1950's to 1990, the year of his death.
