Albert Nicholas (May 27, 1900, New Orleans , Louisiana – Sept 3, 1973, Basel , Switzerland )

Jazz Reed Player, Albert Nicholas, worked from the 1910's onward alongside King Oliver, Red Allen, Louis Armstrong and others. He spent a few years in East Asia and Egypt during the 1920's, returned to America for a few years, but permanently moved to France in 1953.
